YOU'RE GONNA MISS ME BABY The all time classic Roky Erickson song, here in a furious version by the Napoleons on a CD with local bands from the 'Delft scene'. Most bands present on this compilation are hardcore/punk, and the Napoleons stand out playing 'the oldest old school of punk ever', which means sixties garage punk. The CD has an enhanced section with a bio and photo of most bands (the Napoleons too). Other bands on the album include Meringue, Remorse, I Reject, and STH. Delftsche Ondergrond, Delftscene DS001 (1999) |

PLENTY OF MISERY A triple CD on the Canadian AMP Records, in association with Tromaville.com - need we say more? A plethora of bands, cool and bizarre artwork, too many bands to mention more than just a few: The Hymans, The Blackouts, The Pink Torpedos...

FRUSTRATION This 2CD is a tribute to Fred Cole and Dead Moon, and the Napoleons do a very obscure Fred Cole song called 'Frustration' (found on a 7" by The Desperate Edge - basically The Rats in their closing days). Napoleons members Eric and Joke also appear on the CD as part of The Bunny Club (with Maaike/guitar and Katrien/drums) doing a surf version of Black September. Other bands include De Bossen, The Onyas, All Out, Girl Touble, Antietam, Marble Orchard, Lombego Surfers... 2CD Last Chance Records LC006 (2000) |
