The Napoleons go wild!
The bands biggest hit so far* is their song about Miffy, the little bunny character that has been around for well over three decades now. In Holland, her land of birth so to say, she's called Nijntje. When the 'father' of Miffy/Nijntje (Mr Dick Bruna) did a book signing session, the Napoleons gave him a tape with the song. He said "thank you, I'll listen to it, I appreciate it and I like it very much" (to which Eric replied "well... you better listen to it first Mr Bruna, after all it is pretty raw rock'n'roll"). Two days later, the band received a postcard from Mr Bruna, saying that he indeed liked the song a lot,  wishing the Napoleons all the best.

A very nice gesture indeed. I mean, Miffy (and therefore Dick Bruna) are really famous, and you can bet he gets tons of fan mail from all over the globe. The Napoleons are very proud of that postcard! If you want to know more about Miffy and her creator Dick Bruna, visit their official website!

*i.e. the song that is most recognised at gigs... we're not talking charts here.
